Dr Geneviève Guillaume has been a doctor since 1985. She has been working as a vascular surgeon for more than 30 years in hospitals in the Namur region in Belgium. Trained in health care ethics and philosophy, she is currently a researcher in the Department of Science, Philosophy and Society at UNamur. She is pursuing a PhD on the ethics of decision making in medicine and the contemporary understanding of Aristotelian phronesis.
