He is a member of the board of directors of the French Society of Clinical Pharmacy and as such also a member of the French Collective for Hospital Pharmacy in Europe. He is the secretary of the National Hospital Drug Information Centre, which owns the Thériaque drug database.

His work focuses on the implementation of pharmaceutical decision support systems applied to the safety of patient medication management. Current developments concern the representation and sharing of knowledge in the field of symbolic artificial intelligence. The study of the clinical and medico-economic impact of pharmaceutical interventions transmitted from modelled situations has been initiated.

AVICENNE promotes the structuring and feeding of the knowledge sharing platform hosted by a consortium of 4 French-speaking learned societies which was created in 2020.
